While posting this circular I regret to inform you about the sad demise of sister of past District Governor Lion Divakerji Shetty. May God rest her soul in peace.

Friends, I want to share following things with you.

District Governor Lion Anil Desai had attended area forum held in Dubai. And was accompanied by Lion Vidya Desai, Lion Akhilesh Tripathi, Lion Rajendra Rajeshrike, Lion Shrinivas Paranjape, Lion Amar Shette and Lion Ajay Mehta along with his spouse.

Few clubs are not sending their administration & activity report. If your club is one of them please do your club reporting .If you are having any problem please contact lion’s headquarters.

Few clubs are not sending their WMMR report to Lions Clubs international. If your club is one of them please do your club reporting.

Few clubs had not deposited their district & international dues. Please arrange to send your dues at one’s.

District Governor Lion Anil Desai had completed his District Governors visit for 12 clubs. Please arrange to plan District Governor’s visit of your club and obtain date from district governor.

District Administration is planning 3^rd cabinet meeting and felicitation of past district governor’s on 13^th of Feb 2011.Detailed programme will be shortly intimated.

Region Conference of Region 2 and Region 3 are completed. While the Region Conference of Region 1, 4 and 5 will be completed as under

District Administration expects following things from you

Celebrate Melvin Jones memorial month as 13^th January is his    birthday. Celebrate it with related activity.

Celebrate 13^th January as Lion’s Foundation Day, celebrate it with related activity.

Celebrate 24^th January as World Peace Day, celebrate it with related activity.

Celebrate 30^th January as Leprosy Day, celebrate it with related activity.

January month is Lions Information and Rededication month celebrate it with related activity.

Arrange to send half yearly financial report of your club to District headquarters.

Plan 3^rd quarterly issue of your club’s bulletin.

26^th January is Republic Day, celebrate it with related activity.

All India lions meet is on 10^th, 11th and 12^th January 2011 at Hyderabad for detailed information contact lions district headquarters.

District Governor Lion Anil Desai has inaugurated newly formed club Lions club of Solapur Metro. Three cheers for President Lion Mallinath Kalshetti and Extension Chairman Lion Azam Shaikh and the entire team of Lions Club of Solapur Mid Town for sponsoring this club. Welcome Lions Club Solapur Metro in Lions family.

Teachers training workshop is organized by Lion’s club of Ratanagiri in month of January please plan to sponsor teacher for training workshop.

If you have completed your zone meetings, please plan for your zone    social. Please plan zone social with some sports activity.

If your club has not completed Zone & region Chairman Visit please Plan for same.

Obtained date for District Governors visit to your club and submit

District Governors Questionnaire 30 Days prior to District Governors

Please attend Zone Meeting of your zone. President, Secretary, treasurer; first vice president must attend this meeting.

Please attend Region Conference of your Region President, Secretary,   treasurer; First Vice President must attend this meeting.

Region Chairman & Zone Chairman Quarterly Report is on the

Website, Please post your report online.

Please take part in reliving the Hunger Global Service Action Campaigns. For this Please organize food drives and projects to feed hungry. With the down turn in global economy, many hunger relief organizations are finding it difficult to keep up the demand. Help alleviate hunger by planning events around the end of this year.

Please arrange to post WMMR of your club on last working day

of each month.

You must send Administration and Activity report on or before

5^th of every month.
