Dear Lion President/Secretary/Treasurer/Cabinet officer,
First of all let me wish you all very happy Ganesh Utsav. May Bappa shower you all with the best things in world. Id Mubarak to all of you.
We have just competed two month of Lionistic year 2010-2011.
Our Performance during this period is fantastic .We have positive membership growth and all the clubs are working hard for doing service activities. Thank you friends for your whole hearted support.
All club officers are submitting their administration and activity repots through our District Website. Congratulations to all of you.
In the month of August 2010 we have completed three important events-

1. Leadership seminar for region 1 at Solapur on 8^th August
2. Leadership seminar for region 2,3,4,5 at Sangli on 22^nd August.
3. 1st Multiple Council meeting hosted by our District at Sawantwadi from 30^th August -1^st September. This event was well organized and it has given new heights to our District .All top leadership of our Multiple District 323 have graced the occasion and everyone appreciated the hospitality and organization of the event. Through this event we succeeded to project the image through team work of our District in Multiple.

Dear friends, September has just started and District administration expects following things to be done from your clubs-

1. Plan for quarterly club bulletin.
2. Obtain date for D.G. visit.
3. Attend first zone meeting of your zone
4. Plan for service week projects
5. Register your clubs charitable trust with charity commissioner if not registered yet.
6. Leadership chairman has planned residential Leadership Seminar to be held at Mahabaleshwar on 25th & 26th September .Good faculties, good stay, good food. Please take advantage of this seminar to improve your Leadership qualities. Seats are limited and will be given on first come first serve basis.
7. LIONS CLUBS INTERNATIONAL is striving very hard for Extension and membership growth .Please be a beacon of hope and try to increase membership of your club and identify areas for new clubs.
8. We hope that you must have completed tree plantation. If not do it as monsoon season is at its end.
9. Plan Region Chairman’s visit to your club.

10.  Plan Zone Chairman’s visit to your club.

11.  Please submit administration & activity report on or before 5th of each month otherwise you will not able to claim marks for that particular month.

12.  As Sport is one of the District governors Program and rainy season is on the verge of its end, plan for indoor & out door Sports competition to increase lion’s image in society.

13.  Take advantage of permanent projects of your neighboring club to enhance image of your club.

14.  While going through activity report we have observed that many clubs are not sending proof of activity. Please send the proof otherwise your activity will not be evaluated.

15.  While sending administration report please see that proofs of registration
and receipts of payments must be enclosed for evaluation.

16.  Organise club activity for felicitation of teachers on teacher’s day on 5^th September.

17.  Organise club activity for Adult Literacy day on 8^th September.

18.  Organise club activity for cancer day on 13^th September.

19.  Celebrate World Tourism day on 27^th September.

20.  SEND CLUBS WMMR BY 28TH OF EACH MONTH.
